TV crews are back in beautiful Northumberland and various locations around the North East.
During this quiet time of year there has been some action with the TV series Vera, which stars Brenda Blethyn as the popular detective and based on crime novels by Geordie author Ann Cleeves, the series has been a massive success since it first aired.
The show is now filming its 11th series which will consist of six feature length episodes. The first two are to be aired in Spring 2021, with the remaining four coming to screens in 2022.
Cast and crew members have been spotted at various locations including Amble and Alnmouth, only a short distance from Warkworth. Watch out for the new episodes it’s worth it for the stunning coastline alone!
